A LITTLE BIT OF SNOW FOR CHRISTMAS

As the weather men are predicting for it to be reasonably mild over the Christmas period I thought I would present you with a little bit of snow!

Yesterday I went to Startop's End  Reservoir near Tring in Hertfordshire were sightings of a Jack Snipe had been reported during the last two days, needless to say it was spectacular in its absence!!
So I decided to have another look at the Snow Bunting that has taken up residence and has been showing well for over a week now.

So, here's your  'snow'  for Christmas...enjoy!

And a video...!

Cracking video.

These are fabulous shots Trevor, I have not been able to see this species yet. The North Norfolk coastline is a good spot for them.

Great pictures and marvelous video, you can tell that he/she is very fond of having you to film it, he has just finished washing and making itself perfectly dry.
