That is bloody fantastic.
What a series of shots.
I have always thought you were out for perfection. This is spot on.
What do I have to look forward to tomorrow?
Okay most likely nothing but we were both brought up in industries that didn't allow for off days.
keep them coming.

A very nice find Trevor. A species that is still to appear on my patch list ... wishful thinking.

Thanks Adrian, I don't know about the perfection?
You realise this is a bit of a departure for me...posting photo's on the same day as they were taken?...it won't last.
Don't know about tomorrow yet maybe Damsel and Dragonflies or Butterflies...[;o)

Thank you Frank. Yeh, right time right place I guess.
Keep looking, you never know!...[;o)

How great to spot these birds in all that yellow, you seem to have got quite close on one or two of the shots.

Peter, I thought they were Skylarks when I first spotted them (there were lots about) but on the second look I started to get excited!..lol.
I slowly edged closer and closer to get the last few shots with the 100-400 lens...[;o)

Hi Trevor Wow! Don't think I would have spotted those birds in the rape field. That was great spotting and then wonderful shots of them. Are you talents endless! Waiting now for the dragonflies etc!!! Keep hunting.

What a great chance to grab some yellowwags I really like the rape field it's in I bet they were almost invisible.
I like the flight shot.

The Herald said...

Douglas, once again it's a case of right place, right time! I probably wouldn't have spotted them if they'd have sat still. I thought they were Skylarks at first, they were quite mobile!...[;o)
