The early bird.....



....catches the worm. (or maybe she was just having a l-o-n-g lunch break?)

I spotted this pair of Stonechats a couple of days ago, the male didn't look too happy at missing out on a juicy meal! 







My favourite little birds, always a pleasure to see.

A pair of lovely Stonechats Trevor.
I know everyone is chasing Hawfinch but it seems to have been a really good winter for Stonechats over wintering inland too.
Seen so many around here

Yep been there, done the Hawfinch thing...managed to see ONE!...lol.
As you say, Stonechats seem to have fared well through the winter, there's quite a few around here too...[;o)
