YOUNG KESTRELS

Yesterday I had the good fortune to be invited by Keith and Mark to go along with them to see some fledgling Kestrels.  And what  a pleasure it was to get stunning close up views of these beautiful young birds, a thoroughly enjoyable and captivating couple of hours.

If you already haven't, you can get the full story on either Keith's or Mark's blogs (links above).

First born

'the one in the middle'

and 'baby'

Dad brings in a snack

"it's mine..all mine"

"I feel a bit sick after that"

"oi! watch what you'e doing"

And finally a big and special thanks to Mark for sharing his 'find' with us. Thanks Mark.
