A Bit Cuckoo

A couple of encounters from my recent visit.

You should be able to hear the Cuckoo anywhere in the countryside now, before they migrate back to Africa in late July/August. But you'll have to be very lucky (as I was) to see one as they are very shy birds!

Nice shots of the 'Nettle Creeper' ... they seem to be everywhere I stroll at the moment.

We had a brilliant day today. Nightingales,Cuckoos,Garden Warblers and 'Nettle Creepers' galore :) A great place.
